The head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada Molina, has expressed her support and recognition to President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo for her decisions and achievements in protecting the Mexican economy. Brugada highlighted the importance of avoiding unilateral measures that could affect the country, emphasizing the joint work in defense of national well-being and interests.
In a public message, Clara Brugada praised Sheinbaum for her leadership, intelligence, and strength in defending the dignity and sovereignty of Mexico against the policies of U.S. President Donald Trump. Furthermore, she stressed the inclusion of the arms trafficking problem, which comes from the United States and fuels criminal groups in Mexico, in the bilateral agenda.
"I want to recognize President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo for three fundamental reasons. The first is her leadership, intelligence, and strength in defending the dignity and sovereignty of Mexico," Brugada emphasized. "I also recognize her for placing the commitment of the United States to prevent the trafficking of high-powered weapons to our country on the bilateral agenda. We have a strong president," she concluded.
